FAQs

Do you take walk ins?

We operate by appointment. We take walk-ins sometimes. We try our best to. As soon as you walk in you will check in and schedule yourself for the next appointment available with the barber of your choice, or the next available barber. You can save yourself the trouble and do that right now online, here, before you head down. If there are no appointments available, you, unfortunately, won't be able to get a service. It's best to schedule ahead and make an appointment because that's how we do things and we are a very busy barbershop.

How do I schedule an appointment for someone else? Or for my kids?

When you make an appointment for someone other than yourself, including your children, please use the actual clients name and not your own. This will make sure there is no unnecessary confusion when they get to the barbershop.

How can I make sure I get the best haircut possible?

Don't wear a hat to the barbershop. Come with clean hair styled how you wear it. Wear a t-shirt in for your appointment, especially for a hot shave with a straight razor.

What if I No Show?

You'll be charged full price for your service and you'll be required to pre-pay for future services. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please do so through the link in your email confirmation for your appointment. We have a very generous cancelation and change policy.

Do you take credit cards?

We accept all major credit cards, contactless forms of payment and cash. Of course, cash is prefered. Also, for shoe and boot shines, it's cash only.

Are you guys busy right now?

The best way to tell how busy we are at any moment, is to schedule your visit online by booking the next available appointment. That way you can see who, what, and when is available right now. Who knows how busy it will be when you get here?

Can I make an appointment?

Yes. Book online at any time with the barber of your choice at a time that's convienient for you. Please book on the hour or half hour if you can. Also, the barber might slightly adjust your appointment time so that they can maximize their schedule with appointments. The only way to check availability and book is online on this website. Please don't reach out via Yelp or Google, or call our cell phones, because we are busy cutting hair and won't have time to see those notifications or answer the phone, and probably cannot respond in a timely manner. You will not be able to schedule an appointment using Yelp or Google.

Do you have WiFi?

Yes. WiFi is barbershopguest and password is barbershop.

Do you offer shoe and boot shining?

Yes and that's cash only. $8 for shoes and $10 for boots.

Can I bring my child under 10 years old to the barbershop if they're not getting a haircut?

No. Please don't. You'll be asked to reschedule.

"AUTHENTIC"

"Loved the authentic experience, great service. Sam provided an excellent haircut and beard trim. The environment is authentic, this place is a real barber shop and the quality shines through in every aspect of the business. The value and attention made me feel like I had stepped back into a barber shop in a small town, only this place has artisan barbers and bespoke decor."

-Coley A.

"I've always struggled with finding a decent barbershop in the Austin area... but these guys are legit. They could be charging way more for the quality, attention to detail, and service they provide. I'll be back!"

-Tarek M.

"I needed a haircut *today* and my usual barber was fully booked on appointments. I found Cedar Park Barbershop and made an appointment within minutes on their website. As soon as I walked into the shop, I knew I'd found my new barber. You know how modern barbershops have spring up everywhere, and they're all designed to look like the modern version of a classic barbershop? They're pretty but shallow. Cedar Park Barbershop is the REAL version of those shops. Vintage furniture. Bulleit bourbon in vntage whiskey glasses. Barber chairs older than me, for sure, and perhaps older than my dad. But most importantly, CPBS has real, true barbers. They're artists with simple tools, steeped in a knowledge and style of hair and beard cutting that isn't taught in schools any more."

"The best experience I have ever had getting my haircut. If you want the true barbershop experience, this is it. Welcomed me with a glass of bourbon, was very detailed in the cut itself, and ...goes above and beyond what you would typically be used to."

-Zachary S.

"Awesome local barbershop. Steve (owner) is always wonderful to chat with and welcoming, all the barbers are super nice, and Mr. Lee gives the best cut in town. His attention to detail is bar none. This place oozes authenticity unlike the sterile chain competitors nearby. Stop in for a great cut, good dudes, and a free bourbon or beer. Put away your phone and relax for a bit, you deserve it."

-Adam S.

"This place is amazing and everyone is super friendly. Alex is very talented. He saved my look right before meeting the family for the Thanksgiving weekend."
